Revenue Manager

Are you a Revenue Manager or an aspiring Revenue Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity working within a dynamic team for a market leading global SaaS ecommerce platform for airport and downtown parking operators?

Can you demonstrate that you are confident, proactive, organized and flexible with good stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communications skills?

At KMP we are looking for a Revenue Manager to support our UK and US based AeroParker and MetroParker teams who currently provide revenue management services to airports in the UK, Continental Europe and the US, as well as bidding on new business opportunities with private parking operators and airports of all sizes. You will support all revenue management activity across a diverse range of airport clients, as well as developing revenue management plans to support our new business development efforts.

You will work closely with our internal Data Science, product and digital marketing teams based in the UK and remotely support our US based team who work with 14 US based airports and provide revenue management services to the likes of Los Angeles, Charlotte Douglas, Washington Dulles, Washington Reagan, and Norfolk airports.  

 Responsibilities:

  • Support our UK / US based team who currently provide revenue management services to airports in the US. This support includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Manage and maintain the AeroParker online reservation system for multiple airports, including pricing, product rules and promotions.
  • Develop tactical online pricing and adapt online product rules to optimize parking pricing according to multiple criteria.
  • Monitor competitor activity, including off-airport parking operators, third-party aggregators, and other modes of transport.
  • Co-ordinate online promotions with the wider team, developing and delivering promotional offers aimed at maximizing parking sales and increasing the size of the customer database.
  • Develop ad-hoc analysis to support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Support weekly and monthly performance meetings with varying clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the annual budgeting and reforecasting process for parking, building granular level and complex budgets.
  • Develop and utilize pricing tools on a frequent basis, including reporting dashboards, rate of sale dashboards and price recommendation tools.
  • Develop scenario-based analysis and supporting business cases for drive-up rate change proposals.
  • Manage client relations across multiple disciplines, including commercial, operations, marketing, and finance.
  • Support our UK / US based teams on new business. This support includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Support the tender response process for revenue management opportunities in the UK, Europe and US airport and parking operator space
  • Provide market research and analysis for multiple parking markets.
  • Help build financial forecasts to support the tender process, using information specific to the opportunity and other relevant information to ensure the forecasting process is as accurate as possible.
  • Design revenue management plans for new business opportunities.
  • Build demonstration online reservation sites using AeroParker to support pitches for new business.

Experience

  • Using online pricing and revenue management techniques
  • Previous experience of using online booking systems would be useful but not essential.
  • Using a range of Business Intelligence tools to deliver insight, develop reporting and drive commercial decision making.
  • Designing and developing annual budgets and periodic reforecasting for airport parking or in other similar sectors.
  • Building business cases and proposals for existing clients and prospective clients.
  • Using multiple online distribution channels to maximize online sales, as well as the ability to identify the pros and cons of using multiple distribution channels.

Skills

  • Ability to work within a small and dynamic team located in the UK and the US.
  • Ability to design, develop and implement a revenue management strategy.
  • A strategic thinker who considers commercial, operational, resourcing, and longer-term strategic considerations when making tactical and strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create high-level analysis and reporting, detailing the main points for discussion and present insightful recommendations.
  • The ability to quickly assess the validity of reports and analysis based on large data sets.
  • An understanding of e-commerce, understanding how to interpret web analytical tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with AeroParker team and clients from multiple disciplines who operate at different levels in an organization.
  • Ability to work on multiple clients at one time, multitasking and prioritizing workloads to ensure all client objectives are met.
  • Ability to hit deadlines and work under time constraints.
  • High-level of competency in Microsoft Excel
